            Challenge With a proven track record of delivering on time, within budget and to the highest standards, Ellis Contracting are experienced building contractors providing a comprehensive range of services. However, their website didn’t communicate their expertise, service range or value-add – and it wasn’t mobile friendly. As a result, it wasn’t positioning the company as a partner of choice for major projects across residential, industrial, commercial and retail. Approach To achieve Ellis Contracting’s goal of positioning the business as a partner of choice for high-value contracts, we recommended updating the website’s design to create a modern look that worked across all devices – as well as an optimised user experience. Based on our recommended sitemap, the new website has sections for services and sectors, as well as a projects page which allows the business to showcase their work across retail, commercial, industrial and residential sectors. In addition, we updated the messaging – for example by articulating Ellis Contracting’s commitment to delivering on time, within budget and to the highest standards – to demonstrate the benefits it offers stakeholders across the project lifecycle. Result The new website – with its contemporary design and customer-centric messaging – clearly communicates Ellis Contracting’s experience and the value they delivers to clients. It has resonated with Ellis Contracting’s target audience, helping them win new business across residential, industrial, commercial and retail.
            Website for an urban planning consultancy
            Challenge VSKA is one of the Midwest’s leading real estate and urban planning consultants. The organisation helps public, private and non-profit clients understand market demand and make informed decisions. However, the design and copy of its website didn’t accurately reflect the scope or breadth of VSKA’s work. After delving into its target personas and revisiting the sitemap, VSKA approached us for help with drafting compelling copy that clearly communicated the benefits of its experience and expertise delivered to clients. Approach Working closely with VSKA’s web developers and internal team – and leveraging its research into USPs and personas – we drafted audience-centric copy for the new website. In particular, we identified and homed in on the benefits VSKA delivers – including its high success rates, tailored approach, detailed advice and commitment to hitting deadlines. In addition, we made full use of testimonials provided by their happy clients. Result VSKA’s new website is now live. The new website is enjoying higher volumes of traffic and the organisation has seen an increase in enquiries generated by organic traffic.             Brochure and website for a property adaptation service
            Challenge Living Well at Home is a property adaptation advice service – unique in the UK – specialising in accessibility for older people who want to carry on living at home. RIBA Chartered Architect Emma Luddington knew from speaking to friends and family that it wasn’t easy to get advice on how to make a property more accessible. She founded Living Well at Home to provide a service that delivers tailored recommendations for individuals who would otherwise have to navigate complex public services or go on waiting lists. Emma knew there was an appetite for her service – which delivers personalised, practical suggestions on how to make homes more accessible and improve safety – but was looking for help on the right approach to launch her business effectively. Approach Emma initially approached us for help on creating a brochure to launch her business. However, we recommended taking a step back to delve into her mission and vision. This enabled us to articulate Living Well at Home’s value proposition and brand values. From there, we created web copy as well as a brochure. One of the business’s key differentiators is its empowering approach. Emma was very clear that she didn’t want to patronise older people and, as a result, there were a number of phrases that she wanted to avoid. This meant that we needed to be creative when it came to fitting keywords into the copy. Liaising closely with an SEO expert, we crafted copy that incorporated key search terms yet was true to Living Well at Home’s vision and values. Result Emma is delighted with both the web copy and the brochure we created. What’s more, our approach has resonated with Living Well at Home’s target audience and the business is on a growth trajectory.
